Project 2: Zoom Green Screen

For Project 2, I explored the concept of a green screen and how it is used in film and digital media
to create virtual environments. Green screens allow filmmakers to place subjects into any setting, changing how space
is experienced by both the actor and the audience. Building on this idea, I created my own looping video to be used as a
custom background for Zoom. I used editing tools to design a background that could seamlessly loop and function
during a live meeting. I then tested and demonstrated the background in a Zoom session, recording the result to show how
the virtual environment interacts with a real-time video feed. This project helped me understand how digital spaces are
constructed and how they affect perception in everyday tools like video conferencing, and freak out colleagues.
